I love churning these little badges out, they’re so quick and satisfying to make. This one is also inspired by a Sarah J Maas series.
I wanted a different coloured background, so I painted this corner of the fabric before tracing the design onto it. If you look carefully, you can see the pencil marks for the design.
Finished and cut out, but not stuck down yet.
And finished! The design is the insignia for the Night Court from Sarah J Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Because of the blue background, I used blue felt on the back instead of white.
Right in the middle, with an assortment of other blue bookish things I had in my room. (Disclaimer: The Ship of the Dead is not my copy, it belongs to a friend who generously lent it to me to read.)
The badge sits next to the ToG one, as I don’t own the ACoTaR books at the moment. They’re from books by the same author, so I figure it’s close enough.
Anyways, see ya!

What are you going to do next? How long does it take you to make those?

Thank you for commenting! They don’t take long to make, and I’m not actually sure what I’ll do next. Perhaps a Star Wars one? 😊

Ooh, so pretty! They look awesome on your bookshelf. ^__^ Actually, that crochet bunting looks like it could be right at home in the Night Court. Do you place the fabric over cardboard or something of that nature? I’d love to try making some of these one day. 🙂

Thank you very much! I put the fabric over a circle of cardboard from a cereal box and glue it at the back, underneath the felt. You definitely should try one day, I’d love to see your versions! Have you thought of any designs yet? 😊
