Duck Egg Blue

My third linen shirt is complete!

The author stands against a hedge, wearing a loose, pale blue, V-necked linen shirt with floral pants. She has her hands on her hips, and is photographed from shoulders to thighs. The shirt is untucked.

Would it be a shirt of mine if I did not have at least one version in blue?

I do love this shade of pale blue; I believe it’s called Duck Egg by the fabric company.

Not only does it have this cute little hanging loop detail that I adore so much, but I also had to piece some triangles in the bottom corners.

This was the best way to maximise the amount of fabric I had left over, which I have plans for. The piecings are at the bottom hem, so they’re not super noticeable.

See? Can’t even see them.

I have one more colour of these left to go, and then I’m set for summer! (In this department, anyway. I have loads more summer sewing projects stacked up; I just need to actually make them.)

Anyways, see ya!
