More Shelves

The latest addition to Sarah’s bedroom is this little shelf on the wall above her bed.

A brown wood wall-mounted shelving unit is on the cream wall above Sarah's bed, and to the left of her bedroom door. It has two shelves, and there are three silver hooks underneath the bottom shelf.

I saw some similar ones on Pinterest that had hooks underneath, which I thought would give Sarah somewhere to hang things that isn’t the doorknob.

Close-up of the hooks under the lower shelf. They're silver, made of wire bent into shape. They are mounted onto a wooden board between the bottom of the sides and the bottom shelf, that sits flush against the wall.

She’s decided to populate it with “things I need when going outside, like textbooks and my bag,

Sarah kneels on her bed, looking up at the shelves. She's wearing a blue playsuit and holds the strap of her satchel in her hand. The bottom shelf has a textbook with a candle on top. The top shelf has four more textbooks, upright and leaning against the side of the shelves.

Makes sense, because the shelves are near the door. I’m sure some novels will end up there as well.

Sarah sits on her bed, leafing through one of the big textbooks. The shelves are as they were before, except Sarah has hung her bag on one of the hooks.

Possibly a plant in the future?

Sarah sits on her bed beside Chip the android, with one arm around them. The textbook is on the bedside table, with a candle. The rest of the room is lightly cluttered with books, candles, statues, a knitting project, and cameras. Sarah's red shoes are on the floor near the base of the bed.

Sarah’s room now just needs clutter – more books, astronomical gear, plants, etc. That should all be fairly easy, apart from the plants. I may end up crocheting some vine-ing plants, so there’s a bit of green in this bedroom.

Anyways, see ya!
