Three months later…. my second pair of patchwork quilted pants is finished!

They are very similar to the first pair, but I used lighter fabrics for the waistband as a point of difference.

Keeping with the theme, the hanging loop is also pale blue.

Both pairs are quite heavy, and even tightening the elastic waistband doesn’t really help with this.

I don’t mind too much, as they are heavy because they are thick and warm.

As far as the pattern* goes, I’d definitely use it again! The big pockets are a plus, and I’d like to try making it with normal, not-quilted fabric. I have another patchwork quilted project planned, however it will have to wait for next winter – I’ve run out of patchworking patience for this season!
(I should also mention again that my inspiration for both pairs of these pants was From Carly B’s relentlessly uplifting YouTube channel, and @whatkimberlymakes’ reel on Instagram. *And the pattern I used was the pants from the Peppermint Loungewear Set, with adjustments that I’ve outlined in my post for the first pair of these pants, linked at the top of this paragraph.)
Anyways, see ya!
