Flower Festival Photos

Recently, the girls and I went on a holiday to a nearby city that does a flower festival in the springtime. Naturally, I took loads of photos, and I want to show you some of the best ones.

Petra stands in front of a large bed of flowers, wearing a navy floral shirt with brown pants. She has her yellow backpack on, and smiles at the camera. In the bed behind her, there are white alyssums, Icelandic poppies, and pink and yellow daisy-like flowers.

(We also visited a Japanese garden while there, which has fewer flowers but lots of beautiful views.)

Tiffany leans on a wooden post, looking out over a lake. There are trees on the lake's far shore, and some water irises near the wooden post. Tiffany has her purple tote slung over her shoulder, and wears her bright pink cardigan.

Hazel found a flowerbed that matched her outfit quite well!

Hazel smiles at the camera, standing in front of a bed of white, pale purple, and pale pink flowers. She wears her grey cardigan over her cream-striped skirt and pink polka-dot dress. Two of her green braids are pulled over one shoulder.

Petra was in heaven walking around the flowers. This is a mass of sweet peas she’s standing in front of.

Petra stands in front of a very tall mass of sweet pea flowers, which are shades of pink, purple, and white. She's smiling at the camera, and has her hands in her pockets.

Tiffany liked the Japanese garden best.

Tiffany stands on a rock with a rocky stream behind her, shaded by trees. She's got her arms out to help her balance, and is looking at the water.

Sarah stands in front of a bed of blue, purple, pink, and white flowers. She smiles at the camera, wearing her khaki jacket with black floral pants. Her brown stachel is slung over her shoulder.

I have plenty more photos, so this may be a two- or three-part post over the next month or two. Let me know which photo is your favourite!

See ya!

Yves
