Bedside Book Stack

Do you notice anything different about this part of Sarah’s room?

Interior of Sarah's bedroom; in particular, Sarah's bed is centre of frame with her bookshelf to the left of the image. In-between the bed and the bookshelf is a small, dark wood table, just a bit taller than the bed.

I made a little bedside table to fit between the bed and the bookshelf! The majority of this was made from scraps of cardboard salvaged from old projects.

I put a little drawer in as well; not sure what you’d put in there, but it’s there. That’s for Sarah to sort out.

I’m sure it will get filled with reading material soon.

Sarah sits on the side of her bed, wearing a checked shirt with pink corduroy shorts. She is placing a book on the bedside table, next to the unlit candle that is already there.

And, you always want the tallest candle for reading in bed!

I am really happy with this little table; it’s the perfect size, and I love the little shelf at the bottom. The shelf adds stability to the long legs, as well as somewhere else to put things.

I think all I need to do in here is bite the bullet and put up the art, as well as some final little trinkets to scatter around. I want to try and put some shelves above the bed, but I’m not sure what they’ll look like yet.

Anyways, see ya!
