Tea at Yaz’s Updates

Last time you saw Tea at Yaz’s was last year, and a few things have changed since then.

Petra is behind the front counter at Tea at Yaz's, leaning over the countertop with her arms folded, smiling at the camera. The display window in the counter is full of small boxes of tea. The coffee machine is beside Petra on the counter. Behind her head on the wall is a hanging basket.

First and most importantly (according to Petra) are the hanging baskets.

Petra stands behind the front counter at Tea at Yaz's, one hand on the counter. The other is touching a flowering vine hanging down from one of two hanging baskets on the wall. She's smiling as she does so.

She’s planted them all with these trailing, flowering vines, which look lovely. Obviously, there’s these two beside the counter, and there’s one on the wall beside the drinks menu.

Close-up of the corner of Tea at Yaz's near the drinks menu, taken from the counter. On the wall next to the drinks menu is another hanging basket, with the same floral vines planted up.

There are also some dotted around the booths, where I have also re-hung the curtains over the front window.

The booth under the front window at Tea at Yaz's is photographed. The window looks out onto the street and the shops opposite, with purple curtains held back by wall-mounted curtain holders. On the wall beside the window are two more hanging baskets planted with floral vines. The table and booths are empty.

I made the curtain rail longer, which meant new curtains as well. And these little curtain holders!

Close-up of one of the curtain holders. A circular tile is covering most of the wire structure behind. Said tile has a gold sequin in the middle, with a red, blue, green, and white geometric design around it.

The little painted circular tile is hiding a wire structure that the curtains tuck into, which I’m quite happy with.

It’s all coming together really well, I think! We’re mostly doing decor touch-ups now, like pillows, lanterns, more plants, etc. I do want to make the wood the booths are made of darker, though; their current shade is a bit mis-matched.

Anyways, see ya!
