Project Roundup

This shirt is nearly done being upcycled (finally!); I just need to source some nice buttons, and it’s ready for winter.

Close-up of the neck and chest area of a chambray blue button-up shirt, laid flat on a wood surface. The label has been removed and replaced with a small length of ribbon. There are no visible buttons, either on the placket or the two buttonholed pockets on the front.

I have also started another crochet project – this one is a little smaller, though! Eventually, this leaf will be part of an ivy plant.

A ball of green yarn, a crochet hook, and a paper pattern are laid flat on a wood surface. The hool is connected to the yarn and to a small crocheted ivy leaf shape. The pattern says 'Medium Leaf - Part 1 cont.' across the top of the page.

I’ve also cut out another garment for myself, from this gorgeous fabric I purchased two-ish years ago now.

An assortment of folded pattern pieces, a pin tin, a pair of fabric scissors, and a needle book are laid flat on a wood surface. The fabric is pinkish-purple, with floral vines curving between ornate zigzag patterns.

It looks quite purple on camera, but it is more red/pink in person. It’s also quite lightweight, so it should be good for the excess humidity of late summer. (Can you tell I’m ready for the weather to cool down?)

Anyways, see ya!
