Project Roundup

August already, huh? I’m running out of cold weather for all the winter projects I want to do!

I’ve been doing quite a bit of knitting recently, making a bunch of these rectangles. All is planned to be revealed soon…. (but feel free to guess what they might be!)

Birds-eye shot of a knitting project laid flat on a wood surface. A pale grey knitted rectangle is in the bottom left, plain in the middle and ribbed at each end. A new rectangle is cast on to the pair of needles to the right, and at the top middle is the ball of yarn. Scattered inbetween all these are stitch markers; some moths, some animals with plants on them.

(Side note: I purchased these stitch markers after assembling my blanket – they’re from Handmade by Catkin on Etsy, and they’re so cute!)

I did also want to knit Petra some new jumpers from the yarns I used to make the crochet ivy plant, but she may not get time to wear them before it starts getting warm.

Petra leans on two balls of yarn stacked on top of each other. The top ball is dark green, and the bottom ball is a paler green. She's smiling at the camera, and is wearing a purple and pink knitted jumper.

I also have a new garment in the works…

Blue, green-grey, and red checked fabric fills the frame. An unpicker rests on top fo the fabric near where it gathers into a seam. There are pale-coloured loose threads near the seam.

It is much more blue in real life; the camera doesn’t like this fabric, apparently.

Anyways, see ya!
