Project Roundup

My second crochet blanket is coming along nicely. I am over halfway through the squares now, and I’ve been thinking about how I’ll join them all together. I might connect the rows into strips first, then assemble them into three blocks (rows 1-4, 5-8, and 9-12), then stitch the blocks together.

Photographed from above, a notecard filled with small coloured squares (half of which are crossed off), is laid flat on a wood surface. Around it on the surface is a pencil, a ball of grey yarn partially unspooled, small scissors, several crocheted granny squares, and a crochet hook.

That shouldn’t be too much fabric to be wrestling with in the process. Of course by that time, I’ll probably be using the table to do the crocheting.

I have some final touches to make on this (above) project….

The interior of a waistcoat is laid out on a wood surface, photographed from above. The waistcoat, which is open to reveal the inside of the lapel, has some white twill tape pinned along the inside. Around the waistcoat on the surface are a pincushion, some snips, an umpicker, and a reel of matching thread.

….and I’ve also been repairing my grey waistcoat while other things have stalled. I needed to move the stay-tape down a bit, on the inside of the collar, because it was making the collar sit funny.

Anyways, see ya!
