Project Roundup

I completed all the squares for my peach/purple/grey blanket recently, so it is three-quarters complete!

108 crochet squares are laid out in a rectangle on a bed, made with a white sheet. They are arranged in diagonal lines of peach, purple, and grey.

I have begun the process of crocheting all the squares together, which is not taking as long as I thought. I am working on it daily, which is probably why it’s coming together quickly.

Three stacks of crochet squares, tied together with string, are arranged in a rough C shape on a wood background. Next to them is a small crocheted blanket, made of more of the same squares. It's folded prettily, and extends further out of frame.

The plan is to make three four-row sections, then crochet those three sections together.

Two piles of small fabric diamonds are placed next to each other on a wood surface. One pile consists of pink fabrics, and the other pile has blue fabrics. Both are tied together with string.

I’ve also started a new patchwork project; the process of piecing fabrics together, and using up scraps, is very satisfying to me. (And is a good excuse to listen to D&D podcasts!)

The bottom half of a jacket bodice front piece, made of calico, is flat on a wood surface. On it, and around it, are a number of the fabric diamonds from the last image. They are pink and blue, and a variety of patterns and shades, all leaning on the paler end of the spectrum.

It will be a quilted jacket, eventually. The method I’m following requires sewing strips of diamonds to a backing fabric, so I’m using calico from flour bags.

All the individual parts of a crocheted mouse are laid flat on a white surface. They are arranged roughly into the shape of the mouse's body, with yarn tails and stuffing visible. It looks a little bit Frankenstein-esque.

And in-between all these projects, there has been some necromancy body-building other crochet happening as well….. more on this soon-ish…….

Anyways, see ya!
