My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, and I was lucky enough to receive some very kind gifts, such as these three books.
Hotel Valhalla is a companion book to the Magnus Chase series; I’d had the sewing book from the library before and made this from it; and I would absolutely recommend Tough Mothers as well as Rejected Princesses, they are both really interesting reads.
I also received two things from Redbubble, first of which is this beautiful Lunar Chronicles sticker by Kit Cronk, an Australian artist who does typographic bookish artworks.
Secondly was this Magnus Chase T-shirt by 11ronnie, who does a lot of Rick Riordan art.
Then there’s this little NASA badge that a friend brought back from New Zealand for me. It’s so tiny and cute – it’s only 2.5 cm (about 0.9 in) in diameter.
