As Sarah only has one pair of summer shorts, I decided to make her a few more pairs, and I wanted to try and put pockets in them.
For my first attempt, I’m pretty happy with how neat it is. The pocket is, however, a little small.
The shorts were also made differently, to allow for the pockets, so they are fastened with Velcro at the back.
I love how tailored and smart they look, especially in a plain cotton.
I have been experimenting with making the pockets larger, so she can put more than a sonic screwdriver in them, but I haven’t quite cracked it yet.
