New Year, New Books

With Christmas comes gifts, and in my case, a lot of those are books. Below are all the books I acquired in the second half of 2019 – thank you!

A stack of books, spines facing the camera. Top to bottom, the books are: Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, Heartstopper volumes 1 and 2 by Alice Oseman, Doctor Who Star Tales anthology, The Book of Gutsy Women by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, The Tea Dragon Society and The Tea Dragon Festival by Kay O'Neill.
These were all gifted to me except the two Heartstopper books – I bought them myself.

Sarah also received books this year – she’s been wanting to finish reading the Renegades trilogy for a while!

Four miniature books lie on a white brick background, covers facing the camera. Archenemies and Supernova by Marissa Meyer are above Heartstopper volumes 1 and 2 by Alice Oseman.

Big and small Heartstoppers!

The two life-size Heartstopper volumes are stacked, spines facing the camera. The corresponding miniature version sits next to their matching life-size spines.

She also received a NASA t-shirt and a pair of earbuds.

Sarah faces the camera against a white brick background. She wears a dark grey NASA t-shirt, and carries her phone in her hand. Connected to her phone is a set of wired earbuds, like the older Apple ones.
A close-up shot of one of the earbuds, as it sits blue-tacked onto Sarah's ear.

These were very fiddly to make! Each earbud is only about a centimetre long, and they’re each held in place with the tiniest bit of blue tack. I do love how they look, though; they’re a great little detail in the miniverse.

Anyways, see ya!
