Tea at Yaz’s Updates

Tea at Yaz’s walls have been (mostly) re-painted!

Petra stands in Tea at Yaz's, in the corner where the counter usually is. She has her hands in her overalls' pockets, looking around at the walls. Said walls are covered in terracotta, green, and white tiles on the bottom half, and are beige on the top. (Apart from the doorway-sized patch of uncovered wall behind Petra.)

I do need to add things like windowframes around the window, and the new doorway behind Petra above. But the majority of the work is done.

Petra stands inside Tea at Yaz's, beside the front window. Again, she's looking around at the walls, hands in pockets. The walls here look the same as previously, aside from a few slim bits of uncovered wall around the window.

We’re both really happy with the tiles – they look fantastic! I designed them myself, based on the geometric way Islamic tiles are designed.

Petra kneels near the base of one wall in Tea at Yaz's, running a hand over the tiles. They have an eight-pointed star design, dark brown centre with white arms to the stars. There are dark green leaves inbetween the white arms of the stars, all on a terracotta background.

Still to do is, of course, windowframes and doorways, but also the floor. Then I can give the front counter and the tables a makeover. I’m thinking of using these tiles on the front counter as well….

Anyways, see ya!
