Fresh Counter & Booths

In the background of all these yarncrafts and life-sized makes, Tea at Yaz’s has been slowly chugging along.

Petra walks towards the front door to Tea at Yaz's, reaching out for the doorhandle. She wears a grey long-sleeved shirt with a wreath embroidered on the front, with brown pants.

I’ve given the counter a makeover to match the rest of the interiors!

Petra stands behind the counter at Tea at Yaz's, arms crossed and smiling at the camera. The countertop is now a dark wood, and the base is covered in the same tiles as the lower half of the walls. The coffee machine is on the countertop to the left of Petra, against the wall. The window display is still in the counter, with a new frame in the same dark wood as the countertop.

It’s got matching tiles (obviously), as well as a nice dark countertop, and a new frame around the window case.

Close-up shot from above of the countertop's dark wood. The tiled counter base, the window display, and the coffee machine are all visible around the countertop.

The booth table has also been updated.

The booth in the corner by the front window at Tea at Yaz's. The window is bare of coverings. The booth seats are unchanged. The table's surface is dark wood to match the counter, and the support circles are tiled, to match the floor.

The surface matches the counter, and the support circles at the base of the legs match the floor. (Of course, this has also been done to the other booths; this is just an example.)

Close-up of the booth table surface. Petra can be partially seen sitting at the booth to the left of the image. Her hand is flat on the table's surface.

Next steps are hanging baskets for the walls – lots of them! Petra’s been doing loads of propagating, and she’s keen to get them planted. I may also add a small shelf to the wall beside the drinks menu, and I need to put the curtains back up above this window.

Anyways, see ya!
