Sarah’s gift for Christmas this year was a 13th Doctor cosplay, according to the official image released by the BBC.
She loves it.
You can see the enormous pockets as well as the black hem at the bottom here. I painted the coat fabric with acrylics to get the right colour, as it’s a bit of an obscure colour. In the official image, it’s almost a grey-beige.
These are possibly my favourite shoes I’ve made for Sarah. They’re fake leather, with ribbon and what I think is brown cord for the laces.
I painted the shirt design with acrylics, and the suspenders are yellow ribbon tucked into the waistband of the pants.
There is a hood, but it’s mostly for aesthetics, as the scraps I used are a little small to fit over her head.
Naturally, I felt we needed some outdoor shots. (She’s using the Tenth Doctor’s screwdriver because I don’t know what hers looks like, if she has one.)
Eeeeee! It looks so good! I’m really happy with how it turned out, I think I got very close to the reference picture. I haven’t watched the Christmas special yet, but I’ve heard good things about 13’s brief appearance, so I’m confident.
Anyways, see ya!

It’s from Doctor Who, and this is the first female actor to play the character since the show began in 1963. Thanks for commenting! π
