One thing I love about free projects is the variety of things that come, because it’s always fun to try something new.
Cross-stitching is not new to me in any way, and I don’t believe sewing on wood is either, but it is still a nice change of pace.
This kit came with Mollie Makes #89, my most recent issue.
I brushed out the tassels at the bottom, because they looked a little straggly as twisted yarn.
The colour of the yarn matches Spice’s halter really well!
It hangs under my other two hangings, though I do want to move the nail higher, so it’s further under the weaving above it.
Anyways, see ya!

That’s so pretty, I love the idea of stitching on wood. I need to learn to cross-stitch, as there are so many pretty things you can make with it! And those other two wall hangings look lovely as well, you have quite the nice collection now. I need to look into Mollie Makes, it looks like a fantastic magazine, and the free projects are awesome!

Thank you! The pre-drilled holes help a lot. 😅 Cross-stitch isn’t very difficult, though you do need patience if it’s a large project, as thousands of tiny crosses can get tedious. You should, I find Mollie Makes quite inspiring, actually! 😊
