For Crime-Solving

As it’s one of my friends’ birthday soon, I made her a little Sherlock notebook, as she loves the BBC show.

The cover was originally bright orange, but I covered it with paperboard and black paint to look like Sherlock and John’s front door.

I thought the elastic to keep it shut worked well with the black and gold. The notebook is about 10 cm tall, so it’s quite small, which come to think of it, makes it convenient for notes on the crime-scene. I hope she likes it!

Anyways, see ya!

  1. That’s such a neat idea, and an awesome gift to receive. I haven’t watched Sherlock but have heard good things about it – it’s cool that you made her friend something from a show she likes. Mini notebooks are the cutest, I have far too many for my own good because I simply can’t resist! 😀 I’m sure your friend will love it!

    1. Thank you! I’ve actually had the idea for a while, but only now got around to making it. Sherlock is a show I need to watch, too, my friend raves about it. I’m a sucker for any notebook, if it’s got a pretty cover, I’m sold! I have about 5 I need to use more often… oops! 😀
