The Madam Malkins’ fitting area was missing a mirror, so I built one with some shelves built into the back.
Here’s the mirror! It covers the back of the shelving unit.
Putting blue on the back of the shelves was an idea I picked up from a book I borrowed from the library on a whim, though next time, I’d probably do a slightly different shade behind the shelves so it doesn’t blend into the walls behind.
As usual, there is storage for little things underneath the bottom shelf.
While the customer is being fitted for their garment, the shelves are used to store equipment and supplies for tailoring clothing…
… then once the fitting is done, the mirror side is used. The mirror is made of aluminium foil, with a frame of white paper.
Anyways, see ya!
