Tiny Cap

I received this crochet kit for my birthday, and have only just got stuck into it.

A box sits in a white background. The box is printed with, and includes, materials and instructions to make two small Marvel superhero dolls from crochet.

You can probably guess from this progress montage….

Three images are arranged in a collage, with one image on the left and two on the right. Bottom right image is of two crocheted doll legs, which are red and blue. Left image is of the doll's torso and legs, which is red, blue and white. Top right image is the doll's torso, legs, and head completed.

….but the first character I made was Captain America!

A miniature Captain America crocheted doll stands against a white brick background. He wears the helmet and suit from the first MCU movie, with eye-holes and a red-and-white striped section on the torso.

He’s very small; he’s about 9 cm (3.5 in) from head to toe.

I love his little shield – there’s a little chain loop on the back to keep it on his arm.

Close-up of the shield, which has a badly embroidered white star in the middle in a blue background. There are three rings of colour going out from the blue centre, which are red, white, and red.

I found the pattern was easy to follow, and I definitely plan on making more of these tiny characters! I’d love to make Black Widow, and I reckon if you modified the colours, you could totally make Captain Marvel. Or Ms Marvel. Or Kate Bishop…..

Anyways, see ya!
