Growing Sunflowers

I’ve made heaps of progress on the sunflower embroidery, and taken some progress photos.

One and a half sunflowers, with some greenery around them, are cross-stitched onto cream fabric held in an embroidery hoop.

The first two sunflowers….

Two sunflowers, with a bit more greenery around them, are cross-stitched onto cream fabric held in an embroidery hoop.

….three flowers….

Three sunflowers, and greenery between them, are cross-stitched onto cream fabric held in an embroidery hoop.

…four and a half…

Five-and-a-half sunflowers, and some greenery and stems, are cross-stitched onto cream fabric.

….and seven!

Seven sunflowers (and some greenery and stems) are arranged in a bundle. They are cross-stitched onto cream fabric.

Most of the sunflowers are done now, and I’ve actually gone a little further down with leaves since the last photo was taken. Next is the basket the flowers are in. Are you doing any long projects at the moment?
