Red & Navy Wool

Hazel has been wearing her wool skirt for almost the entirety of this winter, so I thought it was high time I made her another one.

“It’s a nice pop of colour, especially when it’s a dull grey day, and I’m in my grey cardigan.” I agree, Hazel! Especially compared to your grey wool skirt.

I considered making the waistband red, but I’m glad I made it navy; red would have been too bright, I think.

I think it’s time now to ever so slowly look towards spring. Hazel has plenty of recipe ideas – she’s been over at Tea at Yaz’s quite a bit, so I’m curious to see what that will turn into.
