Red & Navy Wool

Hazel has been wearing her wool skirt for almost the entirety of this winter, so I thought it was high time I made her another one.

Hazel stands in front of a white brick background. She wears a white floral top with an ankle-length wool skirt and white shoes. The skirt has navy and red chevrons, as well as a navy waistband. Hazel has one hand on her hip and smiles at the camera.
Close-up of the side of the skirt. Hazel's hand disappears into an in-seam pocket, and the slim navy waistband is visible.

It’s a nice pop of colour, especially when it’s a dull grey day, and I’m in my grey cardigan.” I agree, Hazel! Especially compared to your grey wool skirt.

Hazel wears a grey cardigan with the red-and-navy wool skirt. She carries her grey-and-navy wool skirt draped over her forearms, and is looking down at it. Her braids are up in a half-bun on top of her head.

I considered making the waistband red, but I’m glad I made it navy; red would have been too bright, I think.

Hazel stands outside, against the base of a wooden fence. She wears her grey cardigan with the red and navy wool skirt, one hand in her pocket. She smiles at the camera, some of her braids pulled forward over her shoulders.

Wind tests confirm that it is just as snug as the first one. Good sign!

Hazel walks past the camera in her new wool skirt, braids and skirt lifting in the wind. The background is the same wooden fence, with some weeds growing at the base in the distance.
Hazel has her hands clasped in front of her as she smiles at the camera with her head slightly tilted. She's in her new wool skirt, with a grey cardigan and a white floral dress underneath.

I think it’s time now to ever so slowly look towards spring. Hazel has plenty of recipe ideas – she’s been over at Tea at Yaz’s quite a bit, so I’m curious to see what that will turn into.

Anyways, see ya!
