Zipped Up

I was finally able to sew the zip onto my embroidered pouch this week!

Flatlay view of a white cotton zippered pouch, embroidered with a navy blue house in a green forest. A path through the forest is created with negative space. The zip is bright pink.

I’m very proud of how neat it is, this is my first time sewing in a zip!

I do still want to press it a little, just to neaten it up a bit, but I was too excited to wait!

A hand holds the zippered pouch in front of some plants by the corner. The forested side is shown.

I can imagine using it to transport (very!) small craft projects, or, you know, for its original purpose, as a coin purse. Either way, now I know how to put in a zip, the possibilities are endless. I can’t wait!

Anyways, see ya!
