Growing Sunflowers

The sunflower stitching has been growing steadily over the past week!

Seven complete sunflowers and the beginnings of an eighth are cross-stitched onto cream fabric, with green leaves around and in-between them.

I’ve made it all the way down to the basket they sit in….

Eight sunflowers, their leaves and stems, and a brown basket beneath them are cross-stitched onto cream fabric.

….and I’m now starting to work my way across to the right.

Eight sunflowers in a basket are cross-stitched onto cream fabric. In front of the basket is a ninth sunflower (with stem and leaves) that has fallen out of the basket, cross-stitched.

There are lots of pastel colours in the background, which will look gorgeous. I plan to do the ground behind the fallen-out flower, then the sky. That will give me time to work out what words I want to stitch…..

Anyways, see ya!
