You know those windows I mentioned, at the front of Flourish & Blotts?
They’re window displays.
On the reverse of these displays, there are two rows of shelves for new releases, which may also house popular releases. Eventually.
The little book covers are stuck onto thin cardboard and blu-tacked onto the various displays. I made a heap of them, so there’s plenty of variety.
The displays can slide in and out of the windows from inside the shop, so they can change as the seasons change. The new releases wouldn’t normally be facing out, I just don’t have more than one display at the moment.
If you have any recommendations for books for display, feel free to comment! The next batch of covers may be a while away, as I like to fill half a page or so before printing, because they are so small.
Anyways, see ya!

I see some of my favorite books in the window! Perhaps you could add “Warcross” by Marie Lu to go along with the Legend series? π I haven’t read the Six of Crows or Grisha trilogy yet, but they’re on my list. The bookstore looks wonderful, the perfect place to spend an afternoon!

Thank you for the suggestion and the compliment, I love the cover of Warcross! I’ll put it on the next batch. You need to read at least Six of Crows, it’s very quickly risen to one of my favourite books ever. The Grisha trilogy isn’t as good as SoC, but it’s still worth reading, I believe. π

I will add both to my TBR! It’s awesome that it’s one of your favorite books. Since we have such similar taste in books, I think I’ll end up liking it…also because I love fantasy books. π Thanks for the recommendation! And I can’t wait to see which books you choose for the next batch. π
