Project Roundup

Guess what I’m attempting again! It’s fabric dolls. This is the muslin that I’m using to test out the pattern and experiment with techniques, if necessary. The actual dolls will be made with some nice cotton. All ready for assembly! (I had to.) I’ve also finally settled on a Carry On badge design, which I think…… Continue reading Project Roundup

Parting the Curtains

The interior of Tea at Yaz’s is coming along slowly! I’ve made a few fabric pieces, like this curtain/divider for the doorway between the front counter and the kitchens and such. I wanted a pattern on the walls, so I found this stencil that looks a little like Moroccan tiles and stencilled it over the whole interior. This was the first finished wall…. ….still stencilling…. ….and all done! I…… Continue reading Wall Stencils

Project Roundup

As I have limited space to store my miniature sets, I plan to re-make the Diagon Alley shops so they can store their own furniture inside. In the process, they’ll be getting a makeover, and first in line is the old Three Broomsticks. As you can see, its new owners have renamed it to Tea…… Continue reading Project Roundup
